Halloween Celebration
Halloween is almost here and we’re excited to celebrate with our School Costume Parade and Halloween Parties on Tuesday, October 31st. In order to ensure safety and fun for our students, we will be using the following guidelines for our celebration. Please reach out with any questions.

Halloween Costumes
If your child is planning to wear a Halloween costume for the celebration, you are probably already planning all the details with them. We kindly ask that you keep the following in mind:
• Please keep costumes school appropriate and be mindful of all ages at our school (no violence, blood, or gore)
• No accessories/costumes that depict weapons or “look-alikes” of any kind (plastic swords, toy guns, etc. )
• Students will change during lunch into their costumes before our parade–students should not come to school wearing their costumes or any accessories in the morning
• Ensure that your child can change into their costumes/apply makeup independently and quickly

Halloween Parade
• Our Halloween parade will begin at 1:00 PM.
• All classrooms will parade along the walking path near the playground and enter back through the main door.
• You are welcome to stand along the perimeter of the path or in the field to view the parade, but please keep the path clear for students.
• All parade spectators are asked to remain outside for the duration of the parade.

Halloween Parties
• Halloween room parties will begin immediately following the parade and will end by 2:30 PM.
• Classroom teachers will be reaching out to Halloween party volunteers to let them know if their name was picked.
• If you are volunteering in a classroom, please sign in with the office first.
Thank you for your support in ensuring Halloween is safe and fun for all!
