During the month of April, District 54 will be supporting St. Jude’s Children Hospital by fundraising money to make a difference for families. St. Jude’s is dedicated to advancing cures and prevention for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. They ensure that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. Your donation supports research, treatments and other care for children and families in need.
How to participate: Money can be donated via cash, check, or you can click here to donate to the St. Jude’s Fundraiser.
Checks can be made out to School District 54. Cash and check can be placed in a sealed envelope and turned in to the main office with the form below. We ask that students do not go door to door asking for money.
Our Enders-Salk Student Ambassadors will also be sponsoring several fundraisers to help us reach our school goal of raising at least $1,500. Please make sure that you are only sending in the amount of money you are comfortable with your child spending for the fundraiser. For the fundraisers below, we will be accepting cash donations only.
Pie a Teacher | April 14-May 1
- Each morning students will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for the chance to pie a teacher at our end of fundraising event.
- Raffle tickets are $2.00 each or 3 tickets for $5.00.
- Buying a ticket enters you into the drawing, but it does not guarantee a turn to pie a teacher.
Tattoo a Teacher | April 20-May 1
- Students can purchase a tattoo for $1.00 to give to a teacher.
- The teacher will wear the tattoos the day of our fundraiser celebration.
- Students can also purchase a tattoo for themself to take home.
Air Heads Treat Purchase | April 27-May 1
- Airheads will be available for purchase during lunch the last week of fundraising and will be $1.00 each.
If your child would like to purchase an airhead at lunch time, they will need a signed permission slip that was sent home.
