MAP Assessment
As we look ahead to next week, we will be testing kindergarten through sixth grade students using the computer-based MAP assessment tools. The purpose of MAP Growth and MAP Reading Fluency (K-2) is to inform teachers of the immediate instructional needs of students. MAP results equip educators with key data to help personalize instruction and pinpoint individual student needs.
The best way to help your child prepare for the test is by giving them encouraging words, ensuring they are well rested, have eaten breakfast and that they arrive at school on time especially since we often begin testing shortly after arrival. Please see below for the days that your child will be testing.
