Harvest Day 2017
During Harvest Day celebrations at Enders-Salk Elementary, students visited the school garden to check out the vegetables and herbs they had planted in the spring! This included broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, asparagus and chives. They also learned about vegetables and fruits that weren’t in their garden, such as parsnips, yucca and ginger root. The Garden Club is sponsored by teachers Cindy Chin and Cyndee Jackowski.
